Sculpt2D Modeling

A live2d rigging technique I developed, allowing the rigging of an entire model from a single layer of art.The sculpt2d technique is done by creating a single layer white circle on a PSD. This PSD is then imported to live2d and duplicated three times. Each of the duplicates is given a mesh - light, medium, and heavy meshing. These are then duplicated again, and sculpted into the shapes for the model parts.Sculpt2d has several unique benefits:- Infinite zoom without pixelization
- Quick + easy parts edit + creation
- Single, small texture atlas
- Removal of the export/import process for PSD
- Removal of the need for additional programs

Speed Rigs

Speed rigs are created with the intent of optimizing time and value while still producing an enjoyable modelWorking on speed rigs allows me to provide budget options for clients, as well as hone my live2d skills! Similar to how traditional artists may practice short 30s - 10 min gesture drawings to help improve the flow + legibility of their art. Speed rigs help me fine tune the essentials while increasing my rig speed!
